This seminar introduces and provides detail on some of the most common financial securities and financial markets. It is intended for individuals who intend to be more involved in their own investments. Learning about the variety of financial securities that are available will expand participants’ horizons about investment opportunities as well as their understanding of the associated risks and returns.

About the Instructor
Dr. Mehmet Dicle is Associate Professor of Finance and holds the Stanford H. Rosenthal Professorship in Risk, Insurance, and Entrepreneurship. His main line of research focuses on evaluating financial market efficiency and international portfolio diversification.
